Our vision
The market is constantly changing. AFC knows how important it is for farmers to respond quickly to these changes. Our wide range and large assortment enable us to respond quickly and flexibly to the needs of the customer. Whether it comes to color, shape, inflorescence or cultivation aspects, AFC provides the product that best suits our customers. We do this with passion and with a focus on the population and the environment. Together with our partners we are committed to the welfare of our employees and we bear our responsibility for the environment and surroundings at our production site in Uganda.
Origin
AFC's kalanchoe cuttings originate in Uganda, which has an ideal climate for the cultivation of mother plants. Our modern production location Xclusive Kalanchoe and the other production companies are located about 35 kilometers from the capital Kampala. At this 7.5 ha. large farm it is about more than growing high quality plants. Xclusive Kalanchoe covers 2.5 ha. and actively contributes to improving the living conditions of the local population. This includes not only providing training programs, medical care, social services and good accommodation, but also continuously investing in sustainable cultivation solutions and using the natural resources as sparingly as possible.
